Prez’s Weekend at The Summit at Snoqualmie

Wow! What a weekend here in the Central Cascades for the 2021 President’s Weekend powder fest. We started our weekend with a nice walk up Summit East, which btw has an up route for climbers – marked with green popsicle sticks. I like the new trail as it takes the Summer road up the mountain vs. going far climbers’ right, taking far longer. Once on top, we ran into our good snoSk8 bros Brian Wilson and Adam Cooper. These to guys have been snowskating since the beginning and man can they shred. We also do some post season walking for our turns together on the Volcanoes and big mountains surrounding the Pass. For a lift served blast, we ran into Scott Sumner, a long time Hyak local. Now that the secret is out on our little beast we call East, Scott and I went right for the trees to ensure a little fresh bliss.
