width= This past October 16th, 2014, Tara and Carl Simpson, Hugh Gren, Alicia Brannan, David O’Donnell, Zack Jessel, Jeff Rich and myself all met up to kick off another season of skiing the Cascades and living life to the fullest! Our PNW October months are usually pretty wet and gloomy, making for a good month to get the last minute tasks completed, before the snow falls at our doors. However, this month has been filled with sun, warmth and a lot of phones calls to get out and HIKE. So as the faucet turned on this past week, we all knew that a trip up to Camp Muir on Thursday could be a fun one with some wind packed freshies and maybe 5 mins of sun. Well we got the snow right, but the sun was out to play that day (except for maybe 5 mins 😉 ). Below is a short video, Carl Simpson and I put together of our Thursday walk in the park. Get the gear dialed/purchased, and the chores taken care of, because the lift served action will be here soon.
