This past Monday, 11/11/13, Tara and Carl Simpson took advantage of a little break in the NW weather, and spent their day skiing the Nisqually Chute up on Mt. Rainier. The recent rain below 4,500 feet has hammered the new snow but as you can see it’s a different story from 5,000′ up. Get ready though, because the weather experts are calling for a Winter blast to hit us Friday night, that could possibly dump 6 to 10 inches right here at 2,600′ in the Central Cascades (Hyak, WA).
