Moonlight Basin, a super sweet resort made even better with their neighbor and new family member, Big Sky! Below is what Big Sky had to say in regards to the great ONE-TWO punch in the heart of this laid back Big Sky country (located just an hour out of Bozeman, MT).

As of October 1, 2013, Cross Harbor in partnership with Boyne completed the purchase of Moonlight Basin and is now permanently part of one great (and huge) ski complex – Big Sky Resort. With over 30 lifts, 4,350 vertical feet and 5,750 total acres of skiing, the combination of Moonlight with Big Sky and Spanish Peaks resorts makes skiing both Big Sky bigger and better. If you’ve skied Moonlight in the past for its low-key vibe and impressive terrain, you’ll find the amenities and feel will remain the same, but with day tickets that don’t cut you off when you hit a border. If you love (and ski) both mountains, you’ll enjoy a seamless and cheaper way to enjoy all that Lone Mountain and Andesite have to offer.
