This past Sunday, the 8th of December, The Summit Park Crew held their first event, “Up Jib Creek”. I threw “frozen” into the title because of the unusual amount of early season ice. Not to mention the unusual lack of snow, which has everyone itching to get out and do something! Thanks to The Summit at Snoqualmie, the fact Alpental has a little snow and only one green dot trail (St. Bernard). The one and only green dot trail at Alpental, had just enough snow and happened to be long enough to set up a couple lines with a few features each. If you are wondering what the object is in the photo to the left, it’s the hella steep, St. Bernard covered magic carpet. Having just got my hands on the new Slayer Cam by Reel Cameras, I was itching myself, for a little something happening on the snow. Now, thanks to the event, I could capture and edit up some footy from these sweet tiny versatile cameras (that happen to come with a waterproof case and a load of mounts, for just a little over $200 bucks – INSANE !).
