Nice to not have to drive more than 2 miles from the Snow Troopers’ Hyak, WA home base for some turns, even if they were only novelty pow turns. Conditions are looking good at the Summit from this past storm – settled snow depth measured 16″ on top of West. Snow was fantastic. The big storm is on its way tomorrow so be sure to check the Summit website regularly for updates on their opening date. In the meantime, enjoy these shots and the video below.
