Snow!!qualmie Pass, WA – Pass still closed

Taking a break from some knee to thigh deep powder skiing at Summit Central but will head out again for some night laps. Few skiers made it up today and for those who did, they’re stuck for awhile as i-90 closed around 11am today and remains closed in both directions from mile post 34 N. Bend to mp 105 Ellensburg. DOT is working to open eastbound lanes any minute now at 530pm and estimates westbound might open at 630pm. Here’re some pictures of the snow piling up this morning and it’s still coming down hard. Forecasters are calling for up to another 3ft by tomorrow. Check back for video later today.
