What a great way to end 2010! Great snow, clear skies and steppin’ into BrAAAP! mode. We actually planned this sled ski mission out a little bit, then had some troubles early in the morning with one of the M7’s overheating cause the trail was so cold and hard. It didn’t have ice scratchers and was carrying two snowboarders. That coupled with the ridiculously hard berms on the edge of the trail made it difficult to get the sled off into the pow to keep it cool. Naturally since I drive a subaru I carry coolant in my car and we were able to top it off before continuing our mission. Bout an hour delay, no biggie. I’ll continue to make fun of Drake for not seeing his warning lights though! Lols.

We got two solid laps in at this zone and we plan to go back for more, as we just barely scratched the surface. We all had to leave at 2pm to make prior engagements, so our day was short but sweet! Look for another edit coming in the future with the GoPro footage, for some reason my computer didn’t like the file and I didn’t have time to figure it out. Without further BS, here’s the video!
