Aspen, CO- Monoski Champions

At the Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club Council meeting last night where I learned they have the US’ only paralympics development program and a large number of the nation’s top monoskiers. At the event were Chris Devlin-Young who won the World Championships in Sestriere, Italy 2 weeks ago, Laurie Stevens – the most decorated female monoskier ever and Chris Davenport (all pictured below).  Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club also had the youngest athlete to compete and medal  in the X Games last week: Torin Yater-Wallace, 15.  Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club is a non-profit – visit www.teamavsc.com for more info.
