As I sit here editing our take of the Mighty Mt. Baker’s full operation opening weekend which included the backcounty, I couldn’t wait to give a quick peak of the conditons and this guys backcountry car straight line. Also wanted to give a heads up for safety on and off the mountain… I have noticed that along w/ the very high percentage of top notch snow riders at Mt. Baker comes a high percentage of good drivers giving you space between cars and now when to keep it slow and safe. However sometimes you might think that once you have made it to the car safely having traveled through the land of the dragon all day there are no worries. Live to Ski Another Day and take a look at the end of this vid of a guy who took his eye off the ball for a second or maybe his backcountry day wasn’t quite over and wanted one more straight line to share w/ his bro riding shotgun.
