It is a sad day today for The Snow Troopers and a lot of families East and West of the Cascade Crest.

I have been on a road trip scouting out some new terrain here in the Idaho Panhandle for the upcoming Winter and as I was getting ready to share some pics on our facebook page I learned of the TRAGIC news of two local Snoqualmie Pass friends who were spotted in a struggle after their canoe capsized this past Sunday late afternoon. Our one friend Ryan Graham’s body was found yesterday afternoon just off shore Lake Keechelus and our other dear friend has not yet been located. Here is a press release from the Yakima Herald Yakima Herald that came out earlier today.

Wanted to share an “old “Snoqualmie Snow Trooper” daily snow report that finishes w/ some good memories of following Ryan in some great POW w/ a helmet cam in the Alpental Backcountry.

R.I.P. my brothers and you will always be riding w/ us.
