Loved skier and friend will be missed in Kimberly, BC, Canada amongst many many other places. I was saddened by the news my good friend Dale gave over the phone yesterday via Sunshine Valley, BC, Canada. Here is what Dale had to say-
Bob McWhinnie Born August 7, 1957. Passed January 16, 2010.
He was a consummate teacher of all things and a true life lover. It seems the biggest flames burn out to quickly. To go see Bob meant a week of training, proper diet and tons of sleep because you knew when you were done you’d be fricken’ exhausted. He shined at everything he did and everything he touched shined a little brighter. He has left thousands of people missing him and I’m so thankful that I had so many days with just me and my bro’. There are endless powder runs in the sky when I join you my brother someday.
