Back on March 11th, 2010 I met Gunnar Newquist walking though Alyeska’s day lodge w/ a posse all sporting the Contour HD cameras and had to say hey. Gunnar let me know they were up from their home mountain Squaw Valley timing the pow perfectly and what would become the best ski trip they have ever had. Ran into Gunnar a couple more times on this trip the last place being Turnagain Pass on my last day for a tour. As we all geared up in the parking lot for an epic bluebird powder ski tour Gunnar told me their next AK target was heading down to Cordova for some BIG Spine skiing w/ Points North Heli Adventures.
