With all the snow falling and storms tracking eastward, I thought it’d be a good year to ski CO over Thanksgiving for a change. While I missed the big snowfall by a day, I was right on time for a turkey dinner with Julia Mancuso at the home of Barb Sanders, Publisher of Snow Magazine. Friends from Lange, Rossignol and Pro Surf Tour joined as well for a festive and fun evening.
Conditions on the mountain are the best they’ve been in years for this early in the season. I’m told that more terrain will be open tomorrow as Women’s World Cup Alpine races get started with giant slalom.
